From being able to zap through a solid object, using a powerline for transport, and using her abilities for speed and combat. Lumina is very fluid to control and as she has these electromagnetic powers, she needs to make use of them to traverse each area she finds herself in. The gameplay of Teslagrad 2 is where I feel that this game is going to well and truly not just grab me, but most other platform fantastic too. The creature designs are also incredible and give me throwbacks to classic 80s animated movies like The Last Unicorn. The game has some amazing animation and in many ways, it is like you are playing through a very high-end animated movie. The visuals are just incredible and there is a good mixture of almost steampunk and Norse style areas that combine for a setting that really is quite unique. That is awesome and something I got a huge kick out of. That is not a typo by the way I wrote that right! The developer of the game is refereeing to Teslagrad 2 as the first ever Scandivania game which is a Metroidvania with Scandinavian and Norse mythology. However, things in this land may not be what they seem at first! “Scandivania”
Now she must do all that she can to survive and find her way back home. The airship that she was flying on has crash-landed on a dangerous land in the North. What we do know is that we play as a young girl called, Lumina who is a Teslamancer which basically means that she has special electromagnetic powers that let her use an array of special abilities. They have not revealed a great deal about the plot of Teslagrad 2 as I write this. One of the best things about this game is that it is actually available on everything so no one has to miss out on this fantastic game. I am having a hard time thinking of another platformer that I am as excited about as I am about Teslagrad 2! This game is just flat-out awesome, the first game was very well done, it was a neat puzzle platformer, but they have taken what they learned there and crafted something that is truly special.
